The "Living Healthily in Germany" project aims to inform migrants about basic health topics and facilitate their access to the German healthcare system. It is intended to promote health, reduce language barriers, and provide culturally sensitive information.

Target Group

  • People with limited German language skills
  • Families with a migration background
  • Refugees
  • Adult migrants (with and without residency status)

Project Objectives

  • Providing basic knowledge about health, hygiene, nutrition, and preventative care
  • Educating about the German healthcare system (e.g., the family doctor system, health insurance, emergency numbers)
  • Promoting health literacy and personal responsibility
  • Building trust in medical facilities
  • Reducing prejudices and fears regarding healthcare services
